I LOVE boardgames, they're quick, easy to get into and are a great way of gaming and hanging out with a group of friends. I've only just recently got into Super Dungeon Explore and so far have managed just one game which went a little awry due to my lack of rule reading pre game night, but I still enjoyed it
As I mentioned before I have a bit of a problem when it comes to Limited Edition items for pretty much anything I collect or are into. So when i started to explore the expansions for Super Dungeon Explore I was slightly gutted to see that I had already missed out on one limited edition item Candy and Cola. I looked at ebay, but I just couldn't justify the price considering that I was even a fan of the model. I personally think it's not a great sculpt and being metal as opposed to plastic, which everything else is made out of, I felt it would look out of place / force me to actually paint all the models (Which I'd rather not do..)
Anyway when I saw that this was back in stock along with Nyan Nyan and the Succubus Vandella I jumped on them. Go facebook advertising btw, which is how I discovered this restock. I bought them some time mid week and I was overly pleased and surprised when they turned up today!
I've taken a photo of each of them, to show off the sculpts. I'm pretty happy with the other two, Candy and Cola don't improve upon closer inspection, but they complete the collection and that makes me weirdly happy.
I'll do more posts on Super Dungeon Explore and on my other board games, but I'll leave you with my close up photos.
