Okay so there's nothing too special or interesting with these guys, but I thought it might be interesting to see the difference between the old Battle for Skull Pass riders and the stand alone box riders.
Firstly the spiders are almost identical, the stand alone box has a few more variants, which is nice. The bases are identical, even going so far as to have the plastic molded troll base come with the stand alone box (which will be used probably for snotlings at some time in the future). The riders themselves are identical, but the biggest change is in the command.
Obviously the Battle for Skull Pass guys are single pose, they're okay and they're not too outdone by the stand alone box versions. The standard bearer is almost identical, the musician is pretty different, but where they are put to shame is the champion. I'll let you see what I mean, rather than assault you with a wall of text.
The Champion is so nice, I might use him as a hero model if I ever decide to run one.
